Dr. Mark Lomax, II has been chosen to serve as a Mellon Long-term Artist-in-Residence with the Denison University Department of Dance. Over the course of spring semester 2017, Dr. Lomax will interact through lectures, presentations, and master classes for courses and students in the Departments of Music, Dance, and Theatre, and for courses in a variety of humanities and social science disciplines including, but not limited to, Black Studies, English Literature, Sociology/Anthropology, and Philosophy. Additionally, Dr. Lomax will be responsible for 5 performances with his professional ensemble during the semester.
